CLIMATE:

The BC Temperate Rainforest’s Climate is the wettest non-tropical rainforest, totaling at around 150-350cm of yearly precipitation. The weather and temperature is consistent year-round, with the temperature ranges from 17oC summer highs, and -2oC winter lows.

LANDSCAPE FEATURES:

The BC Temperate Rainforest consists of 6.4 hectares (64,000km2) of forest, around the same size as Ireland. The elevation can also stretch up from sea level to 900 meters. Thanks to this and its large amount of rainfall, there are countless lakes and rivers everywhere!

SYMBIOTIC RELATIONS:

A predation symbiotic relationship happens when salmon dies. It helps enrich the plants and soil with its carcass, sustaining the environment!
